A Stronger Wilmot Starts Here

Fiscal Responsibility Strong Communities Putting Residents First

I’m Kris Wilkinson, a proud Wilmot resident, father, and your current Ward 2 Township Councillor. I chose to run for Council because I care deeply about this community and believed we could do better by finding efficiencies, making thoughtful decisions, and easing the burden on residents, rather than always turning to higher taxes.

In my professional life as a recruiter, I work closely with people every day, listening, understanding challenges, and helping find practical solutions. That same approach guides me on Council, taking the time to hear from residents, asking questions, and working toward decisions that reflect our shared priorities.

Since being elected, I’ve focused on keeping residents informed, improving transparency, and making sure your tax dollars are used wisely. I believe strong communities are built on trust, open communication, and responsible planning for the future.

My family and I live in Baden, and like many of you, we chose Wilmot for its strong sense of community and small-town character. I’m committed to protecting what makes our township special while ensuring we grow in a way that makes sense for everyone.

I’m running to continue listening, working collaboratively, and putting our community first in every decision.
